Been sitting with this for a bit… Heart is heavy to hear that life had been bearing down for so long… Time & distance never erased the wonderful memories I have with you… Those memories hit like a big wave today…
Poolside days… night talks over drinks, smokes, music… Travels…. Boys… then Auntie Stacey…
Life really is beautiful and heartbreaking all at once. … I hope there is peace & love after it all; and I wholeheartedly hope you’ve found them. xx

My deepest condolences to all of Stacey’s friends and family, it is truly heartbreaking and tragic to hear of her passing.
Stacey and I were in same camp group long ago when we were just kids at Jay’s Day Camp and I will always remember that red hair shining in the sun.

“Only a moment you stayed, but what an imprint your footprints have left on our hearts.”
I met Stacey over 25 years ago. She was dynamic, exciting and never boring. She was fun, bursting with energy and always raring to go. We lost touch, as I moved back to NY and then to FL. I always kept up with what was going on in her life through a close mutual friend, so when I knew she was starting over in Florida – I asked her to move in with me.
We had a great time living together. We shopped, ate, listened to music and went to the beach. At night, we’d talk until the wee hours and laugh our way to sleep. I heard the details of her wild but fun filled, memorable days and her amazing friends, who she held so close to her heart.
I knew how much pressure she was under to find a job and how frustrated she was. I had no idea she was at her ending point. If I did, I would have stopped her and that is why she planned her exit so perfectly. Stacey needed to leave us and she chose to do it her way. I will always love her – it’s impossible not to. She will forever live inside me. Stacey, I will not say goodbye, only that I can’t wait to see you again.
Love, Dana.

My dad and Stacy’s dad were best friends from childhood. I always remember Stacy as a larger than life personality with a big smile always. We lost touch for many years and just rekindled a few months ago. I am grateful to have had a chance to hear her voice and so sorry to hear of her passing. My sincere condolences to Jeff and her family. She will be greatly missed and forever loved.
