Bernard A. Losoff, 88. Beloved husband of Deanne (nee Levine); devoted father of Michael Losoff, Robert (Bonnie Dykstra) Losoff, and Randee (Michael) Kalkstein; cherished grandfather of Dana, Amanda, Irini, Haley, Giorgos, Elijah, and Hannah; proud great-grandfather of Madison and Paul; dear brother of Marty (Kappy Stewart) Losoff and Susan (late Howard) Treehuboff; caring and much loved uncle of many nieces and nephews. Inveterate tender of an indoor plant garden, reluctant but enthusiastic cat lover, a fashion diva in his younger years, and chocoholic, he also enjoyed collecting various classes of items. Chapel service Monday, Feb. 26, 12:15 PM at Shalom Memorial Funeral Home, 1700 W. Rand Road, Arlington Heights. Interment Shalom Memorial Park. Bernie was our oldest cousin. My dad spoke fondly of him as we were growing up. I remember his sense of humor and seeing him and all our cousins when we visited Chicago many years ago. Rest in Peace Bernie.
