Obituary
Sherry’s loves were family, friends, everything water/sports and animals. Being the best Mom and Aunt were her passion (and she was the gold medalist in those sports). Sherry thought she was the luckiest to have the best of life-long friends that she cherished dearly. Sherry was loving, supportive, thoughtful and confident. Sherry made everything look so effortless, it was like watching her swim, with her perfect form. There wasn’t a worry or stress in the world that could throw off her stroke in life. It’s hard to imagine life without her, but luckily everything she was and stood for, lives on in her daughters and all those that were a part of her journey. We are so fortunate that Sherry left her mark on everything she touched.

Sherry, you were a special friend all through our school years. i remember all the birthday parties your Mother had for you. They were such fun and Jean and I were always thrilled to be invited.
God bless you and may you rest in peace.

What a beautiful burial service! Sherry, you would have loved it. Seeing your beautiful daughters, Audrey, Denise and Marsha; your handsome grandsons, Cody and Jake, and listening to those special words from Bobby, would have filled your heart to the brim . We would have needed sunglasses to shield us from your wide electric smile and your bright shining eyes. And, what a tribute you received! Your kindness, optimism, welcoming spirit, belief in humanity, and your love of family and friends were front and center. Plus your famous Thanksgivings, a few of which my family and I were honored to attend. You will be missed each and every day; but, your spirit of joy will forever be felt by those lucky enough to have crossed your path. May you rest in peace, dear Sherry. Your legacy lives on.

We were such great friends in high school but I moved to California for college and ended up staying in Los Angeles for the rest of all these years. Occasionally at the reunions, we would see each other again and it was like old times. It was like the time never passed as the friendship that we had was always there. I hope she didn’t suffer, and may her life be a blessing?
