Rhoda Schuman nee’ Oppenheimer, 79, passed away on December 18, 2024. Beloved wife and best friend of Larry for 52 wonderful years. Loving mother of Jennifer (significant other Christopher Aguila-Parker) Graves; cherished grandma of Michael and Joshua Graves, Mckayla, J’niya and Khloe Aquila-Parker; much loved sister of William (Alice) Oppenheimer and sister in-law of Donna (the late Richard) Davidson; dear aunt of Erica Oppenheimer and Lisa Hand; treasured best friend of Esther (Alan) Silvers and family. Rhoda was a dedicated elementary school teacher in the toughest neighborhoods. She cared about her kids and always brought them food, clothes and looked after them. she had the best heart and cared how they lived and was always looking out for her students like they were her own children. Her passion and love for teaching was cut short when Rhoda has a stroke and she then became a fighter and survivor. She will be dearly missed by all the lives she touched.
