He was a vibrant, kind, and generous person. He drove me all around the Chicago area and he would joke that he was my tour guide! We had a wonderful time together and we kept closely in touch with each other. My wife and I will never forget him… Zecher Tzadik Livrecha.

Uncle Aaron was a truly remarkable individual. I loved hearing his stories about family history, his career in advertising, WWII and Cincinnati history. Talking Reds baseball with him was a true pleasure. He kept in close touch with his sister and brother in Cincinnati, as well as my wife Tami (his great niece) and her mother Roz (niece) before their passing. He sent holiday cards to me and responded in writing when I’d send him cards. I’ll never forget his boundless energy during a 5-hour visit to the Cincinnati Zoo and an adventure on Michigan Avenue. I felt honored to attend his 100th birthday party and the anniversary of his bar mitzvah. His presence was welcome at our wedding, celebration of Tami’s life, and other family events. I remember him dancing the jitterbug at Sharon’s wedding. He was a man of many talents. I considered him a friend and family member. He will be missed.

A remarkable man .. a full life accomplished , giving, thoughtful and Loving….. I always knew when this day came… I would regret not spending more time with him…and I do…rest in peace.. “uncle Alan”
