Judith M. Durchslag

Judy Durschlag, Age 72, passed away on December 17, 2024. Loving mother of Lisa, Benjamin (Stephanie Kawesch) and Daniel; cherished grandmother of Shai and Isaac; much loved sister of Jeffrey (Maureen) Kahn, JoAnn (Jeffrey) Darling and Jim Kahn; adored daughter of the late Bernard and Gloria Kahn. One of the ways Jewish tradition encourages us to honor the memory of a friend of loved one is through tzedakah, a contribution to a worthwhile cause. Donations in honor of Judy may be made to UCP Sequin of Greater Chicago , who have provided excellent care for Judy’s eldest daughter as a resident. Precious Blood Ministry of Reconciliation , who inspired her son’s Tikkun Olam on the South and West sides of Chicago. Judy provided bookkeeping services for peacekeeping organizations such as this.
