Coming from the south side of Chicago to Skokie at six years old, the Magad family welcomed my family into their home with kindness and respect. I am closer in age to Joel and my brothers are closer in age to Howard, we often played football and basketball together all into the evening or night. I believe the first Bar Mitzvah I ever attended was Joel’s and I was made to feel welcome.
Thank you Mr. Magad for your kindness to me and my family, may God Be Pleased with you!
