So blessed to have met Steven almost 50yrs. ago. Over the years we had so many great times. Eating, drinking, laughing and making wonderful memories. He was kind, sincere and really a wonderful person. He will be missed but not forgotten.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Maureen, Jaime, Robin and the entire family.

Steve and I were pretty good friends back in the 6th or 7th grade. I’m not sure why we were in this Picture Booth.

So blessed to have so many years (about 57) of memories shared with Steve. From our crazier years to our somewhat more “adult” years… I consider myself fortunate to be able to look back , laugh and smile at our time together. You will be missed, but never forgotten!
My thoughts and heartfelt condolences to Maureen, Jamie, Robin and the whole family.

I met Steven later in life but we quickly became close friends. He was good natured , humble and caring. If you needed anything he was there no questions asked. A true Mench!
Steve was struck down way too soon by a terrible disease but the way he faces it was truly inspirational. He fought it with grace and determination. Never complaining and always hopeful to the end.
I’ll miss my friend but I’m happy to know he is finally out of pain. Rest in peace my friend.

There is a saying “to know him is to love him.” With Steven you didn’t have to know him well to love him. He was always there to lend a hand, fix something & tell you when your lights needed to be changed. I’m so grateful I had the opportunity to have so many many unforgettable moments with Steven & the entire Zazove family. I will always cherish them. Maureen , Jaime & Robin I’m here for whatever you need.
Steven made it easy for other people to deal with his illness. He always was upbeat, had a smile on his face & never complained,. “Public Safety” you were one in a million. May your memory be a blessing. Love you, Debbie Fink
