Gloria Jackson

Gloria Jackson, Age 102, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2025; beloved wife of the late Jerome Jackson and the late Harold Silverman; cherished mother of Kenneth (Wendy) Corin and Terri (the late Richard) Gac; much loved ‘Nana’ of Steve Corin, Jessica Gac and RJ Gac and Great-Grandmother of Cassidy Corin; adored daughter of the late Samuel and Jeanette Fischer. Gloria volunteered with the Red Cross during WWll as a secretary to the officers in the Army and then became a military liaison between military members and families-helping with arranging accommodations for families visiting service members. Gloria was widowed at age 32. She worked at Saks 5th Avenue for over 40 years and had a strong work ethic, which allowed her to purchase her own home and put both her children through college. A devoted mother, wife and daughter, Gloria was strong, independent, loving and determined. A breast cancer survivor, Gloria was one tough cookie who always put her family first.
