Commemoration helps us to grieve, to honor, and to heal as we move from a life filled with our loved one’s physical presence, into a life filled with their memory.

There is tremendous wisdom contained in our life-cycle rituals around memory.  Our traditions are both deeply spiritual and practically powerful.

By marking the passage of time with visits to the cemetery, Yahrzeit candle lighting, and Yizkor prayers said, we are able to turn remembering in to an action we choose to consciously engage in.
